Small horse stance.
Feet shoulder width apart, knees slightly bend, feet slightly turned out.
Note: completely relax the body from head to toe.
Large horse stance.
Feet 11/2 shoulder width apart.

Front bow stance.
Feet shoulder width apart from side to side and about 11/2 shoulder widths apart from front to back. Front knee bent. 70% weight on the front leg, 30% weight on the back leg. Front knee must not extend past the toes as this position could put pressure on the knee and damage it.

“T” stance (empty stance).
Stand 80% weight on either leg, main supporting foot flat on the ground. The other foot stands on its ball with the heel raised, this foot takes about 20% of body weight.

Roll back stance.
Bend the back knee placing about 70% of body weight on the back leg/foot and 30% body weight on the front foot. Both feet flat on the ground.
