stand in a small horse stance

Standing still meditation (starting form for tai chi)
Standing still in a small horse stance:
Stand with feet shoulder width apart, knees gently bent, pelvis pushed forwards so that the ears, shoulders, hips and heels become aligned, it should feel like sitting on the ledge of a table, arms 1 fist distance away from the body and 1 fist space under the arm pits.
Mentally relax from head to toe, breathing in through the nose, tongue in the roof of the mouth lifting from the perenium whilst squeezing and lifting the anus (closing the magpie bridges to connect the Du mo and Ren mo meridians), breathe out through the mouth tongue and perinum/anus relaxed.
Empty your mind.If any thoughts other than emptiness comes to mind as you stand like this, acknowledge them then just let go of them, let them pass though and leave your focus.
Stand like this for 5 minutes at first then add a meditation.
Count in your thoughts 1 - 1, then 1 - 2 then 1 - 3 until your get to 1 - 100. If you can sustain this posture to 1 - 100 then start your counting meditation over with 2 -1 then 2 - 2 etc.
Note: use counting meditation on its own if you have problems getting to sleep or you just want to relax.

Through this freedom the heat of the emotions that can sometimes damage the spirit of the heart “Shen” can be brought back into balance and healed by re-establishing communication between fire and water chi energy.

Possible form healing qualities: heart disease, kidney problems, asthma, manic depression, cardiac pain, poor memory, high fever, unitary problems.
